Dear Bill, Miles, Craig, Dennis & Tom,
My name is Darren Lewis from North Queensland, Australia, and back in July 2008, I launched ‘Fathering Adventures’, a ministry which seeks to turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, as expressed by God in Mal 4:6.
I won’t make this a long message, as you can read all about us at our website, our blog site, and our Facebook page, by simply clicking on the links in my signature below. But I would very much appreciate your help in promoting our heart & mission throughout your church and broader community there.
This July just gone, we had Mike McDaniel (the Senior Pastor of Grace Point Church in Bentonville, Arkansas, U.S.A.) bring his 16 year old son Caleb Down Under for a 5 Night Father-Son Adventure, and you can read about his experience at his blog site… http://www.mcdanielbeyondborders.com/adventures-of-austalia/ .
More recently, John Eldredge and his Ransomed Heart Ministries team have featured us on their website as one of their “Featured Allies”… http://blog.ransomedheart.com/featured_allies/2011/02/fathering-adventures.html . You can read testimonials there from past alumni who have taken the time to post a comment there.
Looking forward to receiving your feedback at your convenience.
Abundant blessings,
Darren
